Flu shots?

Have you gotten your flu shot? I haven't and I'm not sure if I will after seeing this picture. Interestingly, she kinda looks like my g-ma. Also, is it just me or is the nurse lady wearing one of those high-visibility construction worker vests?

Well then, you can probably be wrong...

This is why i love and hate this world.

I love how there's a hint in their voice where you can tell that they're really not too sure. And we all know how happy everyone is when atheism rules...

The fool says in his heart,"There is {probably...?} no God." They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is no one who does good.
Psalm 14:1

Note that this is not a slam on those without religion but a clarifier that we ALL fit this description, believer and non-believer. That's why we all need Christ.

Uh-oh...

I feel like a student that hasn't done his homework and now I'm surrounded by teachers slowly shaking their collective heads in unified disappointment. Shame, shame, I can hear them say. Maybe a little tsking, too.

Oh well. Sorry for the past...4 months?!? Whoops.

So what has happened in those 4 months? Sadly, a lot. Many good things: school started with fresh new faces and days filled with opportunity and learning. Some great fun motorcycle rides. Certain large fish now shudder at the slightest thought of my rod and reel. Weight has been lost (and unceremoniously found again). Hair re-grown. And finally a home has been bought and the walls freshly painted (praise God!).

The not-so-good things: I don't think I'm ready for that stuff just yet. The wounds are still sore.

But I feel ready to write again, which is a good thing. Hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to what these days have for us.
